Hello there! my name is Irene and I'm the little person behind the jewelry. IKOYU is a one woman show and I'm in charge of everything from sourcing the stones to dropping your packages at the post office and I love every bit of the process.
My Mission
The jewelry is 100% handmade from my heart to your fingers in my tiny apartment in Madrid and my sole purpose is for you to wear my pieces and feel special.
My Story
I created IKOYU circa 2015 when I first started the need to express my creativity through jewelry and at that time I tried several different techniques like wirewrapping, chainmaille and metalsmithing. It was fun and the dream of having a small handmade jewelry business started growing in me but then life happened and I had to prioritize other things. Fast forward to 2020 when I find myself with a lot of free time, I discover electroforming and I fall in love. THE END :)
